Street Opening Permits
If you plan to open a Borough street a street opening permit is required.
Please call for information on street opening permits.

Dog and Cat Licenses
Dog and cat licenses are due for renewal during the month of January. The fee is $15.00 for spayed and neutered pets and $20.00 for non-spayed and non-neutered pets.

There is a limit of three dogs and three cats. If you would like to apply for a license by mail please click here for application. The Borough sponsors a fee rabies clinic each year for dogs and cats

Taxi-cab Owner License
The Borough requires a license for taxi-cab owners who pick up passengers in the Borough of Lindenwold.

Marriages and Civil Unions
Applications for marriage and civil union licenses can be obtained in the Registrar’s Office. Application must be made in the community where either applicant resides. If both applicants live out of state then they must apply in the town where the ceremony will take place. When applying the couple must bring their birth certificates, one other form of identification and, if applicable, divorce decree, death certificate for previous partner or termination of prior civil union or domestic partnership. There is a 72 hour waiting period from application to license. An appointment is necessary for the application. At the time of application, the couple must be present and accompanied by a witness at least 18 years old. The license fee is $28.

Certified Copies of Vital Records – Births, Marriages, Civil Unions and Deaths
Certified copies are available in the municipality where the event took place. Lindenwold’s fee for this service is $10.

Blue Star Flag Program Information
A blue star flag will be presented to each family with a service person currently deployed. It is designed to hang in a front window of the family home. To be eligible to receive a blue star flag, the service person must be currently deployed and they must be a Lindenwold resident. Blue star flags will be awarded to the families by the Mayor and Borough Council at their meeting. Please download the application.
